NaKeesha Davis Weston finds her purposeful home at the intersection of faith, justice, and advocacy for women and families. It is her special joy to preach the gospel and give language and voice to black women and their unique perspectives.

In 2006 NaKeesha accepted her call to preach and is a licensed and ordained minister. She is a former member of the pastoral staff at Mississippi Boulevard Christian Church and currently serves as an itinerant preacher. She counts it a great privilege to continue to serve as a motivational speaker, mentor, published writer and founder of CoveredGirl Ministries.

In 2014, following a whirlwind upheaval of her life, she launched CoveredGirl13. This online ministry was initially a space to process her thoughts amid turmoil. However, it grew to a place where women gathered to hear, be, and be heard. Women have testified that there, they have received language, strength, and joy for their journey.

In 2020, she has launched a virtual space and podcast called A Place for My Sustahs. This space serves as a digital community for black women by black women where their voices are centered and heard fully.

She is a die-hard mother of three amazing daughters, family-oriented woman, and sister friend indeed! Professionally, she is an elementary educator as well as a licensed and ordained minister.

In her spare time, you can find her reading, writing, or dancing to Beyoncé with her youngest daughter.
